DATA CONVERSION:

For those client that have existing content available in other formats (database, pdfs, word docs and more),  we can make direct use of the existing content or easily manipulate the content into acceptable formats for the current projects at hand.

DATA ENTRY RESOURCES:

As a manufacturer or distributor of electronic component products, you may have multiple product types with many levels of data required for correct presentation. We can document your products to varying degrees of depth depending upon the degree of importance for each factory, category, or family of products to your company.  as an example:

  • TIER I / Flagship Products - Documented heavily with dozens of content fields
  • TIER II / Secondary Products - Documented well with a handful of content fields
  • TIER III / Ancillary Products - Documented minimally for selection processes only

TIER I and TIER II products may have html landing pages for best-in-class search engine optimization for factory name / Product Category / Part Number and more, while TIER III product can link directly to pdfs and have minimal SEO value.  We will work with your Product Marketing Team to select product categories and their documentation levels.

 

DATABASE TOOLS / LIQUID DATA:

With little direction from our clients regarding the preferential treatment of their product content,  we can now configure a data entry database tool for your product types and their differing "TIER" levels.  Once configured, we can make use of off-shore resources for data entry.

Info-Mgt's networked database tool provides for auto-entry functions to lessen key strokes while improving consistency.  after the database is populated, we can simply pour the content into any project at hand, whether it's a web page, a datasheet or a complete catalog. Our approach ensures maximum return of one data entry into mutual utilizations for web and print.

BUILDING THE DATASHEET:

Adobe Creative Suite is the industry standard software tools for graphic design and creating professional documents, images and illustrations.  Adobe Photoshop is acknowledged to be the tool to use for photographic images.  Adobe Illustrator is most often chosen as the tool for logos, icons, graphs and illustrations.  Finally, InDesign is the layout software tool to manage all text and place all {asstes|elements] into the layout for best presentation.

We can export generated text from including layout and styles into our master InDesign document to assure the professional appearance of all your datasheets.
